Corriere della Sera: for Italian startups in New York, the AI Act is an advantage

Reporting from SMAU New York, Corriere della Sera asked Italian startups how European AI rules play abroad. CEO Alessandro Pericolo explained that the privacy-by-design and human-in-the-loop principles Pragmatica adopted to comply with the AI Act are seen by clients and investors outside Europe as an additional guarantee: client data stays anonymised, separate from the AI engine and under the client’s control, while final decisions remain with people.
